Edwin Pinero – Chief Sustainability Officer, Veolia Water North America.
As Independent Chair of the ISO Project Committee that wrote the standard on Energy Management, Ed Pinero is considered one of the world’s leading experts on ISO 50001. He also formerly held positions as State Energy Director for PA and Federal Environmental Executive for the George W. Bush Administration where he administered environmental sustainability and energy management programs for federal facilities nationwide. He has worked with numerous industries on the implementation of management systems and sustainability programs.
Warren Weaver – Senior Consultant, EMS Consulting
Warren Weaver is a registered ISO 14000 environmental management system auditor and an ISO 50001 energy management system auditor. Warren provides both environmental and energy management system assessment and training services to his clients. Prior to starting EMS Consulting, Warren worked at Penn State University for 18 years where he was a Sustainable Manufacturing Specialist with PennTAP. In addition, Warren has held various positions in industry including technical and managerial positions on the user and supplier sides of the environmental, foundry and printing industries.
